Axelle Munezero is a dancer and choreographer whose aim is to share the power of whacking through authentic, sensitive and moving creations. Her vocabulary of movement draws on her entire career, especially her identity as a Black woman living in Canada. Active on the dance scene for more than 15 years, she is well known at home and internationally. In addition to having her own creative company, Asymmetry, Axelle is the co-founder of the non-profit 100Lux, which works to support street dancers.
